Brazilian, 61 years old, was born in Uberlândia – MG – Brazil, is the Deputy Chairman of Caramuru Alimentos, the largest national capital based grain crushing industry in Brazil.
Post-graduated in Finance at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, São Paulo, César Borges de Sousa is the vice-president of the Brazilian Association of Maize Industries (ABIMILHO), president of the Sectorial Chamber of Supply Chain for Maize and Sorghum of the Ministry of Agriculture, Permanent Member of the Consultive Chamber for Soybeans and Maize at the BM&FBovespa (Future and Equity Exchange Market); vice-president of the Brazilian Association of the Food Industries (ABIA), Director of the Brazilian Association of Agribusiness (ABAG); Member of the Superior Board for the Agribusiness (COSAG) of the Federation of Industries of São Paulo State (FIESP) and president of the Brazilian Association of Non-GMO Grain Producers (ABRANGE).
